Update: Post Vacation

What's up beautiful people?

I am sorry for the long delay in between articles, I was planning on writing something before my trip out West, but plans changed with schoolwork, and I got caught up.

I have been pretty inundated with schoolwork; in fact, I am working on this article instead of doing one assignment (sorry professor).

But the good news is I had a hell of a time during my trip. Got to see so many things that I could have never imagined in my lifetime, and I got to meet a lot of nice folks along the way.

One of the biggest positives of the trip was hiking, as you can see below, I did a lot of walking/hiking during the trip.

During the trip, I averaged 6.6 miles a day walking, some of these days included walking over 10 miles a day. Now you'd think that this would mean that I lost a substantial amount of weight, but you would be mistaken.

I wound up eating three meals a day, probably the first time I have consistently done so in years. It was all delicious, but I knew that I was basically offsetting my hiking.

I had the opportunity to see Zion, Bryce, and Grand Canyons. The Grand Canyon was only the North Rim section, but I still saw a good part of the beauty of it.

As far as fitness goes, I have been back in the gym and have been working solely on cardio this week. I haven't really seen any noticeable changes, but a few pounds have dropped so there's that.

I am going for my fifth day this week today (hopefully) and assembling my new bed tomorrow.

I have been in a bit of a post-vacation funk where I have lacked energy and motivation to do pretty much anything. I probably have not seen significant results because when I work out, I am only doing 25-30 minutes instead of increasing more and more. And also, I have snacked here and there instead of not doing so.

My flight out to England is on the 21st, so I have that to look forward to. I cannot wait to see my buddy Callum whom I met from UWF as a study abroad student. I will be living with his friend James who's also dope and likes to watch NBA.

Hope everyone has a great weekend, and I will probably post something next Friday or Saturday before my trip.

See ya!
